DEATH OF WILLIAM SAYRE.

William Sayre died Saturday evening at 5:40 o'clock at his residence, 128 Atkin street, and will be buried this afternoon at Riverside. The funeral will be held at the residence at 3 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. L. M. Omer and Dr. R. F. Campbell.

Mr. Sayre leaves surviving him a wife and five children. His sister, Mrs. Orr, of Indianapolis, and all the children except the eldest son who lives in Los Angeles, Cal., were present at the time of his death.

Funeral Will Be Held At Seventh Day Adventist Church

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha E. Sayre, 71, who died at 7 o'clock Tuesday night at Pisgah sanitarium, will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Seventh Day Adventist church on Haywood stret, with burial in Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Sayre has lived in Asheville for the past 25 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Will P. Howard, of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, J. Scott Sayre, of Los Angeles; and B. F. Sayre of Tampa, Fla.; and by several grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be selected from members of the Seventh Day Adventist church. The body is at Clayton and Hyer's funeral home until the service.
