Mrs. E. P. Millener, mother, and Miss Josephine Hoyer, aunt of Dr. Millener, have arrived from Buffalo, N. Y., and will remain in Omaha during the summer. They came a little earlier than they had intended, that they may be in attendance at the wedding of the doctor, which occurs Thursday afternoon, April 8. At that time the doctor weds Miss Jessie Abbott Scott of Ashland.

Mrs. Jessie Scott Milliner of Omaha, who has been in London doing hostess work for the Y. M. C. A. since last spring is now in Plymouth, England. Mrs. Milliner will return to New York about the middle of April and will come to Nebraska to visit her father, W. C. Scott of Ashland.

Mrs. Jessie Scott Milliner, who is on the publicity committee of the staff association of the New York public library, writes from New York City that on Monday evening, July 20 at 7 o'clock, New York time, which is also day light saving time, a library talk will be broadcasted from station WEAF. If this talk is successful she thinks they will have a series of talks that will help libraries everywhere. Mrs. Milliner would like to have the Gazette readers to "tune in" at that time and if they like the talk to write to the American Telegraph and Telephone Company 195 Broadway, New York City, and mention the fact.
Mrs. Milliner is the assistant branch librarian of the Tremont Branch, the second largest branch library in New York City. She writes that they are very busy and she is looking forward to her vacation in September when she hopes to visit Ashland.

Mrs. Jessie Scott Millener arrived in Ashland Monday morning from New York City. She will remain here with her brother, John Scott, and uncle, G. L. Scott, until the middle of February, when she will go to Kansas City to make her home with her brother, C. S. Scott, and his little daughter. She has accepted a position in Kansas City in the public library, having resigned her position in New York City as assistant branch librarian of the Tremont Branch of the New York City public library which is the second largest branch in that city.

Services for Mrs. Jessie S. Millener of 4057 Front St., who was employed as a librarian for 40 years in Kansas City, Mo., before she retired, will be at 2 p.m. today in Cypress View Mortuary. She died Feb. 10 in her home.
Mrs. Millener, a native of Nebraska, had been a county resident for 21 years.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Annabelle Geesey of San Diego, and two grand-nephews. Inurnment will be in Cypress View Mausoleum.
