Marriage Announcements and News

Cedar Vale Commercial, December 9, 19048905

Sherwin—Miller

Edwin R. Sherwin and Minnie M. Miller were united in marriage in Cedar Vale November 30, 1904, J. R. Marsh, J. P., officiating. Mr. Sherwin, late from Missouri, is not widely known here. He has made his home at L. Buckley's, near Cedar Vale, for three or more years and has attended strictly to business instead of getting acquainted. He has proven himself to be a steady, temperate and industrious young man of promise.

Miss Minnie is the orphaned grand-daughter of William Sartin, of Look Out Valley. This young lady has made her home with J. J. Wilson, of Cedar Creek since her orphanage and has acquired the science and accomplishment of housekeeping so rare among young ladies.

The happy couple immediately took the train for the groom's home in Missouri, and will be at home on the farm near Sedan in about two weeks to welcome friends. The best wishes of all go with them.
